Sport has the power to unite and inspire us. It brings out the best in us as individuals and as a community, but many girls find themselves dropping out of sport at a significantly higher rate than boys. According to the Rally Report, 1 in 3 girls drop out of sport during adolescence compared to just 1 in 10 boys.
As a proud supporter of girls sports, we are committed to providing equitable, inclusive environments that encourage girls to continue playing for as long as possible.
Starting this summer, we are proud to be teaming up with The Bishop Strachan School to offer a girls-only Multi-Sport Camp experience during the last two weeks of June. This camp will be led by our all-star team of female coaches, showcasing the importance of representation in sports and our commitment to equality.
Overview
Multi-sport participation should be the foundation of athletic development for our youth, and our multi-sport summer camps reflect that. During multi-sport camps, campers will participate in a variety of different sports and activities, ranging from soccer to basketball and everything in between. The best part is that your child doesn’t have to pick between one sport or another – they can do it all!
Generally each morning at camp will consist of a variety of programming, which typically includes soccer, basketball, flag football, lacrosse, frisbee, and camp games. Each afternoon, campers get the opportunity to split off into smaller groups and compete in fun small-sided games in their favourite sport.
Note: Given the current field renovation project at BSS, the majority of activities for this camp will take place indoors in the gymnasium. If possible, campers will play outside on the SportCourt.

For this camp, a hot-lunch program will be available daily through the BSS food & beverage program. Registration will be done through BSS and more details will be sent out in May 2023.

What is your refund or cancellation policy?
Registration fees are payable upon registration in order to confirm a spot in TOP Sports' camps. In the event that participants request a refund for a camp, they must do so 30-days prior to the start of camp to receive a full-refund. If within the 30-day window but still more than 14-days away from the start of a camp, credit will apply if a refund request is made. If the refund request is made within 14-days before the start of a camp, no refund or credit will apply. No refunds will be offered once the program has begun, or offered for missed classes or practices regardless of when the cancellation was made or circumstances.
In the event of any cancellations that we have to make to camps or programs related to COVID-19 or similar, we will be offering appropriate refunds to all families
What Happens if it Rains?
Our coaches well prepared with a rainy day schedule in the event of inclement weather.
Will my 5 y.o. and 9 y.o. be in the same group?
All campers will be placed in small-groups with campers of similar age and/or skill level. Generally speaking siblings will not be placed in the same group, especially if there is an age difference.
Can I make a friend request?
All friend requests must be made via email at least 14-days before the start of camp. If friend requests are made within the 14-day window, we cannot guarantee that groupings will be made with these changes. To make a friend request, please email camps@topsports.ca and please indicate your child's name, the child you wish to request in your child's group, the week they are attending camp, and which program they are enrolled in. Generally if campers are enrolled for multiple weeks, we will place them in different groups or with different coaches for a portion of their enrollment at camp to ensure they are being exposed to a wide variety of campers, coaches, and staff on a weekly basis.
